Welcome to Catholic Mission’s World Mission Month School Resource for 2014. Join with Catholic Mission this World Mission Month to learn more about issues of mission and justice and to reach out to help children trapped in the dangerous ghettos of Jamaica, and around the world, get a proper education so that they can have better opportunities to be ‘alive’ when they grow up and achieve their dreams.

The powerful and inspirational DVD When ‘I grow up I want to be... ALIVE – sock it to poverty in Jamaica’, the web based interactive teaching and learning resources and the insightful stories from St Anne’s Primary School in Kingston, Jamaica, will not only help educate students, but also inspire them and the whole school community to reach out to children in desperate need.

Your involvement in these World Mission Month activities would be a great contribution by your school community, as well, for the national Anti-Poverty Week (12 – 18 October 2014) campaign being held throughout Australia at this time.
